Employees see their roster and share their availability per week, visible to the planner straight away. They see shifts that suit them and pick up an open shift themselves. Swapping works without the hassle: the rules keep applying and changes show up straight away.
On arrival they check in on location. Staffyou ID links that check-in to the verified profile, so you know the right person is on site.

With Staffyou Engage you send messages and notifications to your own employees via the app, WhatsApp, SMS or email. You select by location, role, shift, availability or status. Employees reply in the same channel and their answer flows back into the schedule.
You set automatic triggers on publication, changes, sick calls, reminders or after a worked shift. Messages and notifications can be set up in multiple languages, which helps teams with many non-native speakers. Employees only see their own messages.
Check-in on location, one profile for everyone
On arrival, employees check in on location, linked to their verified profile. The app works for your permanent employees and flex pool, and agency workers can be scheduled in the same platform.

Does everyone need to install the app?
No. You can also send messages via WhatsApp, SMS or email, and Staffyou Agent works via WhatsApp. For picking up shifts, swapping and checking in, though, the app is the most convenient route.

What the planner notices
A good employee app saves the planner a lot of back-and-forth. Availability is already in the schedule before you start, open shifts get picked up without calling everyone and swaps stay within the rules. So you do not have to check every swap by hand.
If a shift still stays open, Staffyou Agent takes over via WhatsApp and escalates according to your rules. On arrival, the check-in confirms the right person is on site, so you can approve the hours later without discussion.
