A worked example: schedule 3,000 hours in a month and you pay (3,000 − 500) × €0.15 = €375, however many employees, planners or locations are in the system. Schedule 400 hours in a quiet month and you pay nothing.

What Planday itself offers
On planday.com, Planday describes itself as the workforce management platform for people who work in shifts. In the app you create and share schedules, while employees clock in and out from their phone, send messages and request swaps that you can approve from anywhere.
Planday mentions leave management with balances, working-time rules with alerts when rules are broken, and ISO 27001 certification. The pricing page shows Starter and Plus priced per user per month, and Pro with custom pricing. Plus lists leave and absence management, payroll reporting and integrations and access to integrations and API; Pro lists auto-scheduling among other things. Planday offers a 30-day free trial.

When Planday may fit better
If you mainly work with a permanent team, want to manage leave and balances in the same system and value an internationally used platform, Planday is a serious option. Leave management is explicitly part of its offer; at Staffyou WFM it is not described as a separate feature.
If external capacity is a fixed part of your scheduling, with a flex pool and several agencies you want to manage and settle in one chain, Staffyou WFM fits that more closely.
Switching
Switching from Planday in four steps
Switching does not have to be a big bang. You import rosters, employees and templates via API or file upload. Then you migrate per location or department and run in parallel with Planday for a while, so your planners learn the new system in practice first.
A pilot at one location or department can go live within a few weeks, including a load test on your expected peak volume. The core is configuration of roles, locations, pools and rules, not a custom build. Support is available seven days a week, from 7am to 7:30pm.
