WFM for logistics
In a warehouse or distribution centre, volume swings per day and per shift. Staffyou WFM schedules your own team, flex pool and several agencies in one roster. No valid certificate means no placement, and hours run through to self-billing.

How it works
Planning on volume and shifts
Staffyou Forecast turns your own history and signals from your operation into draft shifts per hour, location and department. The algorithm fills them in your order: your own team first, then your flex pool, then agencies. It weighs availability, skills and certificates, travel distance and cost.
A shift that cannot be filled internally goes to your agencies automatically, in the order you agreed. Agencies work through a free supplier portal or connect via SETU, XML or JSON.

- Free portal or SETU, XML, JSON
- Fill rate and no-shows per agency
Certificates and identity enforced up front
Staffyou Compliance tracks qualifications and certificates such as forklift and safety certificates. No valid certificate means no placement. Rest periods, maximum hours, night work and collective agreement rules are checked at scheduling, at check-in and at hours processing.
Agencies schedule within the same platform, so the same checks apply to their people. Before the first shift, Staffyou ID runs a document check, biometric comparison and liveness detection via Fourthline, and whoever clocks in is linked to that verified profile. You can make verification mandatory for everyone working at your sites, whichever party they come through.
Hours, work tickets and self-billing
Check-in, work tickets, approval and self-billing run in one flow. You see deviations before they become an invoice problem. For connected agencies, self-billing replaces checking separate invoices.
On the KPI dashboard you see fill rate, time to fill, cost, no-shows and scheduled hours per location and per agency. You steer suppliers on performance rather than gut feeling.
Pricing
What it costs and how you start
Staffyou WFM costs €0.15 per scheduled hour, with the first 500 hours per month free. Unlimited users and locations, cancellable monthly and without setup fees. For enterprise volumes we make a tailored arrangement.
A pilot at one location or department can go live within a few weeks, including a load test on your expected peak volume. Data is hosted on Azure in the EU, strictly separated per customer, and Staffyou is ISO 27001 certified.

Familiar faces
The same faces on the floor, week after week
In a warehouse every new worker costs induction time. So the algorithm takes previous placements at the same client and location into account, and people return to a place they know. People who return get up to speed faster, make fewer mistakes and cancel less often.
Staffyou Agent also flags at-risk shifts up to fourteen days ahead: low interest per position, gaps in the day at the same client or a short lead time. You can then adjust earlier, for example by bringing in an agency sooner or approaching your own flex pool in a targeted way. On a sick call or no-show the agent starts a replacement flow via WhatsApp and, when needed, hands the shift to the planner according to your rules.
Scale
Data and scale
The platform is built cloud-native on Azure. Capacity scales with locations, users and shift volume, and peaks are processed by an asynchronous engine that does not slow down planning. In a pilot we load-test your expected peak volume and share the results openly.
Background
Why logistics planning gets out of hand
Logistics runs on volume that differs per day: a large inbound delivery, a promotion at a customer or the pre-holiday peak. Shift work, night work and weekends make the roster complex. Often several agencies supply people too, each with its own lists, rates and invoices.
On the floor it also matters exactly who is there. An expired forklift certificate or someone passing a shift on to an acquaintance is not just a planning error. It is a safety and compliance problem as well.
How do you organise workforce planning in logistics?
You organise workforce planning in logistics by planning on the expected volume per shift. Fill first with your own team and flex pool, then spread the rest across agencies in an order you set. Have certificates such as forklift or safety and the Working Hours Act checked before anyone is scheduled. Staffyou WFM does that in one platform, with check-in, work tickets and self-billing for connected agencies.Logistics risks and the check in Staffyou WFM
| Risk | Check in Staffyou WFM |
|---|---|
| Expired safety or forklift certificate | No placement without a valid certificate |
| Too little rest between shifts | Working-time check at planning, check-in and hours |
| Someone else on the floor | Staffyou ID via Fourthline and check-in |
| Many agencies, many invoices | Supplier portal, SETU and self-billing |
| Unknown supplier performance | Fill rate and no-shows per agency |

Can Staffyou WFM manage several staffing agencies?
Yes. With vendor management you work with your own agencies through one portal: requests, assignment, rates, hours and invoicing, according to your purchasing terms. A shift that is not filled moves on automatically in the order you agreed.
Are certificates such as forklift and safety checked?
Yes. Qualifications and certificates are part of the worker profile and tracked by expiry date. An expired certificate means no placement.
Does scheduling work for night shifts too?
Yes. Night work, rest periods and maximum hours per week and per period are checked while planning and again at hours processing.
What does logistics workforce planning cost?
Staffyou WFM costs €0.15 per scheduled hour. The first 500 hours per month are free, with unlimited users and locations. Volume tiers apply to larger volumes.
Staffyou is also a staffing agency. Can it see our agency data?
No. Staffyou WFM is legally, organisationally and technically separated from the staffing activities. Your agencies, rates and data are not visible to the Staffyou marketplace.
